About the e-Archives

The SWITCH Library Consortium e-Archives is home to born-digital records and scans of older print material. Some digitized content from as early as 1991 is available here as well as in the print archives. All records created since 2020 are only available in this repository.

Up until June 2024, Alverno College hosted the physical archives of the SWITCH Library Consortium which contained print records from 1989-2020. In July 2024, SWITCH began a project to digitize the entire archives.

Organizational Structure

The SWITCH e-Archives align with the series structure of the print archives:

• Series 1: Administrative Records
• Series 2: Financial Records
• Series 3: Committee Records
• Series 4: Events
• Series 5: Miscellany

Accessing the e-Archives

Authorized users (SWITCH staff, the Alverno Archivist, and the current SWITCH library directors) can use the pre-coordinated search options from the tabs OR perform their own simple or advanced searches. The simple keyword search includes full-text searching of PDF files. SWITCH staff can also assist you in finding particular documents.
